Back, By Popular Demand, LightningFest 6, 2008 !

The 6th LightningFest will be at KCIR in KC, MO. The date is 15-17 August 2008, and the format will change slightly. Hopefully, the earlier date will better accomodate those who have had limitations of attendance due to children returning to school.

Stay tuned for further information on racing & show schedule, classes, events and registration information. We will have a website up shortly.

A special thank you to those who have volunteered to help make this event a reality, and a big thank you to Big D and Nan for their unyielding support!!

Man that is a bad month to hold LF. Aug, in the midwest. Hot, hot, hot. Should do it in Oct.

 

I'm not.. but I'm certainly going to Lightning Fest 08!

 

Personally I dont care if you where banned. But to just **** on L fest is well..being a bad sport! Mike is running the show this year. Hes the one working his azz of this year! Mike Jones is also a good friend.
L fest has been for the last 5 years alot of fun! I know Ive attended every one. Ive paid for every L Fest and Only competed in 2.
Its the only national Lightning event that is centralized trying to give both east and west and all in between a chance to meet up, race, eat, drink and have fun as a lightning community.

I will say this...Dwight is a very good man and a personal friend. he has had to deal with more than many would care to deal with. Dont even try to justify your issues with him to me....I dont freakin care what you have to say!

I myself will be there helping out where ever I can and having fun. Hell who knows matbe Ill have a tranny that can compete!

I sure hope to see JL and maybe Jim show up as well as the rest of the Lightning Vendors.
Johnny seems to always show up but the rest are far and few in between.

Yeesh Andre has even traveled more than anyone and has never complained....maybe some of you should follow his example.

OK Im done with my rant...have a nice day...check your plugs (oh BTW I can change a set in 25 min. Plug wrench off LMFAO!!) sign up for L fest and quit cryin about being banned!

I;m glad you posted something, because I read Scott's post and was like WTF, is Scott drunk or something? LOL

 

Scott, I am almost embarrassed. Thanks for sticking up for me, our event, (VERY IMPORTANT TO POINT OUT THAT THIS IS EVERYONE IN THE LIGHTNING / HD COMMUNITYS EVENT) and everyone over at The NLOC. I encourage everyone to make it, there are a lot of people other than me who are working hard to make this happen, including Dwight. I am just the dude with the job of being out front, and I am glad to do it. Seeing you folks every year is a drug to me, and I wouldn't know how to act if i didn't have LightningFest To look forward to.

As a note, signups will be open by the end of the week, so get ready, lets make this the biggest attendance in the history of the event!!

Sorry to hear you had to delete my post since I stayed on topic, gave more info about the event, and even defended the starter.

Thumbs up to you for stepping up to the plate to keep an event around for ALL L owners.
