Hope someone can help me on this one.

I have a Pro-M 80mm mass air meter and a Superchips R9 chip in my truck. Everything has been fine till today. at WOT and starting at about 2900rpm, it starts pinging like crazy. The fuel in the truck is a mix of Sunoco 94 and Mobil 93 so I know that there is plenty of octane. Could it be the stock plug doing this or is my chip doing something wierd to it? The chip has come lose in the computer a coulple time the past 2 months but I wouldn't think that that would have anything to do with it. I am thinking about dumping this chip and going with one from a different manufacture. Any suggestions on who to go thru??? I love the shift pattern on the R9. The truck seems gutless without the chip in it now.

Send it back to Mike at superchips for a reburn. Tell him about the pro-m, mine did the same thing when I had the pro-m.HTH!
