Post Best tire-smoking pics- post them!

If there is one thing I love to see it's big, fat, raunchy, obnoxious, loud, cloud-billowing, asphalt-ripping , vehicle-engulfing tire smoke shows. (aka: the John Force Burnout!) I know we're all working on our best launch but isn't it fun once in a awhile to just let 'em rip. If you have some pics like this let's see them.
Auto world.com had a nice one of a '01 L
getting it on but I think the members of this board may have one or two in the archives.

These may fit that description...they were taken by a friend of mine during a visit to his house (his idea).

One thing I learned during this was to make sure the slider and side windows are closed before its too late...one tends to run out of oxygen after awhile.

GalaxyEng, glad you enjoyed that. Those pictures were taken by a friend of mine ("chains") at his house just north of Detroit last summer. The tires were actually MT ET Streets and the duration had to last over 2 minutes. I quit because once the cab filled full of smoke I could only hold my breath so long :-)...

I scouped up a full handful of loose rubber afterwards and tossed in the trees. The good thing was we didn't see any mosquitoes for awhile.

I've wanted to do something like that since I was knee-high to a grasshopper and that just turned out to be the day <g>. Sometimes you just gotta say "Oh well, what the *******!" :-)

I tried to do one but my truck will not spin the tires. I think I got a slow one.
