I'm looking at a 2001 Red L in excellent condition. It was owned by a 55 y/o man who sadly passed away last month. 60,000 miles and he drove it very easy. I looked it over and I mean it doesn't have a scratch, was garage kept and the inside is in excellent condition. He used seat covers throughout. What would be a good ballpark offer. His widow knows nothing about the truck, but i want to be fair to her and i got 1st choice on it. It has Toyo tires on it with good thread also.
I totaled mine (five car pile up) then re-build it, with a salvage title.
The insurance company handed me a check for $16,800, it was a silver 2001 with 86K on the clock…. (I got it back for $2,500 salvage value) I have been on the road for the past 10K and she runs like a champ no rattles or shaking or hesitation, she is now a keeper!!!
