Ordered a set of wheel locks last week at Ford dealer...told me they would be their tuesday....today they tell me ford doesnt have locks for the Lightning or Harley? I ordered the 14mm...right? The guy on the phone charged me for rush delivery. Maybe I'll go a different way on this...some people say the locks dont work anyway. Is that true? Is there a better way to hang on to ones wheels?

 

Instead of messing w/Ford, do yourself a favor and order a set of Gorilla wheel locks. They are a complete set of 20 wheel locks (not 4 that Ford sells). The cost is $59.95 + S/H = $65.90. The L stock number is #76603F. I talked w/Kay at 1-800-262-6267. It took about a week to receive. Good luck. Bob

 

Called Kay on Monday and was told they won't have locks available untill end of April at the earliest. It took my dealer one week to get the MC Guard locks.

They are 14mm with washers to protect and secure the alloy rims. The Ford Part Number is YL3Z-1A043-BA. They are made by McGard and are ONLY available thru dealer channels.

Just for fun let's confuse this subject with a few facts,

The MC Guard's (Qty 4) are ugly as hell and are of a bastard design, but cost 1/2 as much as,

Gorilla's (Qty 20) don't have attached washers, but look stock.
