A couple weeks ago, I posted a thread on how to get Ford's X-Plan pricing through EAA.
For those of you who did just join will you do me a big favor and e-mail me the name you used to join EAA. The reason is there is a membership joining contest and I would love to win.

My name is Allen Balkcom. I signed up last Tue, got an email Wed with membership #. Went and got my Ford X-Plan PIN#. Worked great and was easy. The best $40 (I think). Waiting on a raise and to find an X-Plan friendly dealer to put $ down on the L. Thanks.

Thanks guys, this gives me two more members to my credit.
In Calif. it would be impossible to get an X-Plan on an L. Maybe, some dealership in the East or midwest will do it. You have to find a store in an area where the L's are not popular. I used it you purchase my wife's new Ford Escape. It worked great.
