Unhappy It's 5am and there is over a foot of snow in my yard...

The dogs just had a fit and got me out of bed because they were freaked out about the power outages. I come upstairs and look out the window and there is more than a foot of snow on the ground and it is still falling. I don't own anything under 300hp that isn't a rear wheel drive...I guess it's time to go shopping huh?

I don't know jack about Colorado geography but wouldn't it be hard to be surprised by snow ? Could be worse, you could have been here in stormy Cincinnati watching people riot right outside your office window.

I guess you have a lot of snow to shovel since you park your L in your FRONT YARD.

Cool

I haven't seen snow in years. I know that actually having to live with it is much worse than the fantasy of it, but I LOVE the fantasy of snow. I wish it would snow here!!!

It's 85 and sunny in Aurora. I don't know what she's talking about. However I know I parked my L outside of work last night and now there's just a great big white snowball where it used to be. Oh well overtime isn't so bad.

82 degrees here in Baton Rouge and sunny, but in two months it will be 100 and humid, so I'm happy while it last. Heading to the golf course. Have a good day

CA,
Hmm, I think I might know of a nice place that can eliminate your woes, hehe.

Believe it or not, we have been getting hit with it up in our Northern part of the state. I think I may have to break the sleds out just one last time this season.

Shortly after that first post this morning the power went down. We just got it back about 45 minutes ago. The snow has stopped, thank goodness for that. My 2 big dogs took off out there and yanked a bunch of snow heavy hanging branches off the trees, the 2 little ones took off and disappeared...a few minutes after that 2 sets of ears waded back through the snow and 2 huge snow ***** emerged and proceeded to roll around on my living room floor...Most of the highways were shut down and since I couldn't see this morning I didn't bother to go in to work which is ok, because the office still hasn't regained power. No, my truck was not on the lawn, she was in the driveway behind my camper, but still hanging over the sidewalk. It was 72 here Monday...will be 64 here tomorrow I think is what they are saying. The weekend will see thunderstorms but a high of 75, and that is just how Denver weather is.
Wyldy if ya have a snow mobile come on over, I'm making veggie beef soup. Hit the Blockbuster on your way.
Peter I am counting the days hehe

It keeps snowing and melting here off and on, reaching 60's threw out winter. The only big snowfall we had was around 12"-15", which all melted in about a week. One of the main reasons why decided not to get the Lightning was because I'd never want to drive it in snow. I could of easily got away with it this year!
