Question POLL...Who traded-in '99/'00 L's?

Who traded in the '99/'00 L's? What did you trade for and why?
Just curious, wondering what to do with my '00L.

I have a trade in price for my 99 on a 01. If I can sell before I trade it in I'll do it. I always wanted silver and now since the 01's have some improved parts I'm going for it..

Traded. One phucked up ride. Giving Ford a second chance at my expense. So far so good.

Let's say it cost around $2000.00

I would imagine that this will be a difficult poll to accurately conduct, in that many who trade for something else will not check into this forum. I traded my 99 for an Audi TT Quattro Roadster. I got tired of worrying about the intercooler.

Cool

Less than 24 hours ago I did the best mod ever to the Lightning-traded it in on a 01 Mustang GT. No regrets and don't expect to have any. I plan on keeping the Stang about a year to see if Chevy is gonna make the SS or not and if not I will buy a new Chevy truck and build my own L eater.

Cool

I traded my 99 in for a 01, for the reasons stated above and a few others. So when the cheby boys built their "L eater" they just might run into a "SS eater". BTW if chebys new SS is no more than the mighty SS454, they might just as well build chevettes!

I'm trading in my 00 for an 01. My guess is that you can make at least 3 perfectly good chevettes out of one 454SS. Make good economic sense.

Why are you trading in your '00? Are they giving you a good deal?
AND there is nothing wrong with a chevette................that a lb. of c-4 couldn't fix.

The wheels? Boo! Not a fan. And what interior upgrades are there from the 2000? I didn't notice any when I peeped in one.

The wheels do grow on you as I didn't like them when first laid eyes on them. As far as interior upgrades, the onlt thing that I noticed was the "new car smell".

Cool

I traded my '99 for an '01 Harley Screw. The main reason was for seating. Having 2 two seaters wasn't cutting it. Miss the power but much happier with the interior and extras that come with the Harley.
