Post How do you cut sheet metal?

I want to make a new adapter for my trailer hitch plug. A while back someone posted that they made one out of steel. How do you cut sheet metal? Would sheet metal work for this or should I use steel?

Thanks

Question

I've got access to a computer controlled plasma cutter and could probably knock out a bunch of them. Anyone interested?

Steel / sheet metal, in this case it was the same thing. I believe I used a sabre saw (a.k.a. hand jig-saw) with a metal cutting blade.
