Anyone ever race a BOSS HOSS cycle?

You're more than welcome to race one, but you WILL lose. That is, unless the bike sits there spinning the rear. Let me just put it this way, most normal bikes can beat our trucks, and a Boss Hoss is way faster than most normal bikes! (Until you have to turn, that is.)
Personally, I think bikes racing cars is a stupid concept. A four-wheeler has to be in the mid-to-low 11s in street form to even compete with most sportbikes out there, and in the 10s to run with the best.

Those things are sleds, weighing in around 1000lbs or more. I think the Boss Hoss is more of a status symbol, look-at-me-I-have-a-chevy350-under-my-gonads. I believe they also offer a stroker 383 for the mentally insane. Just a straight line rocket, don't try and turn. If you ever lay it down, you better have at least a couple of dudes there to help pick it up. Don't get me wrong, they are pretty cool, though.
I'll stick with my low 10sec. streetbike that weighs in low 400's wet weight. Of course my bike is capable, but I doubt I am capable of 10 Second times.

There is a small Boss Hoss dealership just down the street from me. I wondered in there one day to have a look. There was a black small block bike setting there that had just been sent back to the factory to have a supercharger installed (about 400hp) I guess the owner didn't think it had enough power so he sent it back and spent another 6000+ dollars to have the blower installed but while the bike was out of town he found out the factory was coming out with the 502 big block so he traded it in on the spot.
They're not my style but it is fun to see what other peaple consider a play toy. If I was going to buy something in that league, I would just get a F18 complete with runway and maybe the optional aircraft carrier.

I live about 50 miles from the Boss Hoss factory and a few years ago I saw one (345 horse 350) running at the track (1/8th mile) and it went 6.60 fishtailing the whole length of the track. There were several sportbikes there that day gsxr 750, zx 11, fzr 1000, etc. They were all 7.0 to 7.20 I bought an '01 vmax recently and I already am dissatisfied with the performance and have it advertised to sell. When it sells I am considering a 502 boss.
