Post Got 2001 L today-which bed cover?

Thanks to input from others on this board I decided to pass on a new 2000 in favor of a 2001. I picked up my 2001 red L this morning. I got a chubby as soon as I started the engine--what a ride!
I grew up with quite a few muscle cars, and the L's balance of power, handling, breaking and comfort are outstanding. The truck is sharing a bay with a black '70 Chevelle SS LS6.
Now I need help selecting a roll top cover. I am considering a Retrax or Rollnlok. I'd like something more secure than a conventional soft top,and I'd like it to do a good job keeping water out of the bed. I have read that the roll tops usually do not seal out water well.
If a hard cover is the only way to keep water out, I need one that's easy to remove and put back on.
What are your recommendations on bed covers?

Ooo ooo, I'm interested in this topic too! I just assumed the roll-away hard tonneaus were waterproof. Is this not so? I'm 95% sure I'm getting a Retrax, by the way. The only question now is, cash or credit?

Felonious San Dog resident,

Retrax is a great cover (biased owner) if you need to haul big stuff "on the fly." However, it is not 100% waterproof.

Blitz,

If the above requirement isn't a necessity and your looking for a hard cover, the Lo-Pro is awesome. Clonetek and Johnny Lightning have them. real nice.

Clonetek,
How much does your ProSport weight? Is it easy to open?

I love my Retrax. It does leak a slight bit at the corner by the tailgate. I would think that if I tried I could fix it, but it is so slight that I never tried. I always keep my gym bag full of clothes in the back and its never gotten wet. Love the versatility (misspelled?) of it. You can keep it open, closed, or lock it open in any position. Its super strong and durable too.
