Unhappy Anyone have problems running 26 inch tall ET streets?

I'm trying to figure out whats going on with my truck. A few weeks ago I went to the track and ran 3-13.3's on radials and a 13.2 on DR's all at 103 and almost 104 mph. This was done in 50 degree weather. Last week I put on my brand new ET streets only to run 13.6,13.7,13.8 all at 99 mph. The air was bad,but that is alot to lose from that alone. Tonight I ran a 13.8 at 98 with the ET's right out of the box. I decided to swap to my radials just to see. My first clean pass(broke lose at half track on first pass)I picked up to a 13.7 at 99,then a 13.5 at 100,and a 13.4 at 102.5. I did have to reset my computer because I got a check engine light after my first run on ET's. It's the only thing I can think of as the tempature only changed 3 degrees and it started at 81 and finshed at 78. So has anyone else had similar problems?? By the way my friend ran his bone stock(air filter removed)00 Auto LS1,to a best of 13.49 and best mph of 104. I thought that was excellent for him,at least I did manage to have the best ET.
