Bro 3 L's and @ 6-7 yrs later and I still wrestle with that POS set up each and everytime &@$%*@$%*@$%(@$

(well actually no more, I have the complete JDM upgraded fuel system; twin oversized SS Braided Lines, Racing Canister Fuel Filter, etc...)

All I can tell you is it goes like this
It dont really matter if you use the little plastic tool or the steel sissor tool.
The object is to get the correct size (and yes it's tight) to fit over and in place and ready to go. Of course the Edge that sticks out is what needs to go IN the connector.

Then I find if you push the fuel line "on" as your releasing the clips to take it off, it comes off much easier Also note MOST of the times you think you didnt release it, YOU DID.

What I find helpful is getting an open end wrench in there right behind the tool and pusk like a MF while you wrestle with the line.

If you end up with a mouth full of gas, YOUR IN

This is not a L but pretty good pic's and instructions

(in this picture they're using the little plastic tools)

Good Luck and Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas...
