Question Catback exhaust

Picked up my 01 lightning about three weeks ago and love it. The only thing I don't like so far is the exhaust note. I'd like it to growl a little more. I'm skeptical about finding one that works and sounds good. There was an article in Mustangs and Fast Fords a few months back on the Borla system and they testers did'nt have anything good to say. What about Bassani? Flowmaster? Etc. Any feedback I could get would be appreciated.

Just installed the Bassani Cat Back system 2 weeks ago best money ive spent on the truck it is a little expensive but the sound is worth it makes the truck sound so mean like it should have sounded from the factory i swear u can hear me from like a block away now people dont just stare at my truck they hear me coming and are like what the ******* is that hehe the sound is just awesome and the tips are now 4inches and shine unlike stock tips best mod i put on so far well worth the money and i swear it got louder the more miles i have put on it also i think that their was a little increase in performance even though people say the exhaust does nothing but i think it did awesome well worth the money

Trust me, the bassani is costly but it sounds awesome compared to any exhaust I have heard out there. I did the full kit though, so it might sound a little different, but not much.
