Where’s Waldo, I mean the 3 stooges?
What ever happened to these 12.66 second 1/4 01 Lightnings, with just 2 mods?
I've seen a couple of 01's 13.587 - 14.1 stock. Respectable and right in line with what it should be.
What exactly constitutes 2 mods?
Chip and Filter, only?
Or,
Chip, filter, MT’s (do these count), Transmission kit (does this count), Iced intercooler box (does this count), Racing gas (does this count), Spitfires (do these count), spare and tailgate removal (do these count), personal tweaks (do these count)?
BTW doesn't one of the guys already have a chip and filter? What ever happened to his 1/4 mile run, hasn't it been weeks since we've been promised a 12 second run, even a 12.99 second run?
Hell even a 99 - 00 pulled a 12.8? – 12.9? with only a chip and filter.
I wonder which 01 be the first to do it, I wonder who'll be the first to take credit for it; a.k.a 'I knew you could do it'?

2 mods = Chip and REAL slicks (on a 99-01, not just an 01), should get a couple of the "strong" ones in the 12's, but it would have to have a good pilot. Maybe not run a filter at all and use some high octane. I would say gas is not a mod, and neither would "no filter".
