Post Got the truck! Will it get ALOT stronger?

I got the L yesterday. I have about 75 miles on it now. I have yet to REALLY get on it, but I did hit it from a stop a few times. When I punch it from a dead stop the tires spin for a few feet and hook up. If I brake torque it, it will melt the tires easy. My question is....after break-in will the tires spin easier from simply punching it? This is a good thing for the track, however! Is there a HUGE difference after a couple thousand miles or is it even noticable?

jrcase,
I would say "yes" that it will get much stronger with a few thousand miles. I am not the best person to ask because I bought mine at sea level and then drove it to Colorado (5000 feet). The one thing I did notice is after a 3-4000 miles it felt as strong in Colorado as it did brand new at sea level. I will be taking the truck back to sea level, I can't wait.

By the way, my wife's parents live just down the road from you in Crossville. I am sure I will be coming down often once I move to Columbus in a few weeks. We will have to hook up. Drop me a line if you want. Later.

When I first got my L it seemed just like yours now I have about 1700 miles on it and it seems a lot stronger.I was cruising over to my brothers house on a back road going about 25 or 30 and nailed it and I laid rubber for about 60 feet. Definitly a difference with some miles.

SVT-Snake -

Yeah, we need to hook up at Bristol or something. I am thinking the L will loosen up quite a bit and show her teeth better with more miles. Thanks guys for the replies.
