It's a bust for me. Have a job to finish. Friggen change orders are never worth it.

Unhappy

Sorry guys, didn't make it...

My ISP dropped dead oh Thursday afternoon, but I didn't get a chance to do anything about it until this morning. Bye bye DSL (Reflex), hello cable (AT&T).

Spent all day Friday watching Ron at Charley's Drop Shop take apart my suspension to get a 2.5"/3.5" drop. Looks great, handles great (IMO), but still needs a tad bit of adjustment on the steering this week. Will post pictures in a little bit.

Sorry Jeff... we will have to meet at Woodburn sometime.

Spoondog, Those guys lowered mine about a year ago. I assume they did it the same as mine. When you say steering adjustment are you referring to the total loss of turning radius? Did you replace the shocks? Is the rear bottoming fairly often? Did you use shackles and hangers out back and modified A-arms with stock springs in front. Sorry for all the questions and we absolutely have to get together at Woodburn soon.

2nd Bolt: Heh, that's exactly the new setup on my rig.

Check out http://rcarino.home.mindspring.com/lightning_drop.htm for the pics.

New shocks all the way around, new A-arm, DJM hangers & shackes in the rear. The rear end does bottom out when I get into the bumpy patches at speed, but my driving doesn't take me down those roads very often.

I'm going back this afternoon to work on the 'lack of turning radius' today... basically going to adjust the bump stops on the A-arms. If this doesn't fix it, I may opt for trading the modified A-arms for the DJM kit. We'll see... but overall, I feel I'm happy with the job.

April 29th sounds good to me, now we need to get ahold of RedVoodoo and perhaps Jigawatt to make this a grand showing.

I have something I am going to try for the rear bottoming problem, I will let you know if it works. Woodburn on the 29th looks good.
