I am looking to install a set soon and wanted some do's/do nots on removing the door panel. I don't want to tear anything up or damage anything. How hard is it and what should I do to do it right? Thanks for any help yall can offer.

 

I would recommend getting a "panel puller tool" . It's a little tool used to help dislodge the plastic pin inserts that hold the door panel on. Should be able to by one at a local auto parts store.

 

Nightrider:
The door panel comes off real easy: you just need to pop off the trim piece above the panel(hold on to it and pull, it will come off.) there is one screw under it, take it out. Next, pull off the trim around your inside door handle, there is also a screw there. Pop out your power contols for your windows and door locks, then unplug them. there is no plastic inserts so you won't need to get a panel tool. You just pull up on the panel and it will come out. real nice setup compared to older cars. Don't forget to unplug your door light next. Now your pannel is off, I did the muth mirrors a while back on my truck and I really like them. The first side took me about an hour, but the second side only took abot 30 min. Once you learn how to do it on the first side its a breese on the second side. Good luck, Bill
