Post My 01 track times

Ran my truck tonight at Edgewater in Cincinnati. Truck is completely stock. I have about 1700 miles on it and ran with the tailgate down. According to the console, the temp was 60 and no wind to speak of. Track lists elevation at 492 feet. And the Baro (according to my Casio watch) was 29.40. I made 7 passes and all were within 2 tenths of each other. Here are my two best passes...

R/T .756
60' 2.011
330' 5.781
1/8 8.852
MPH 79.90
1000 11.522
1/4 13.782
MPH 99.83

***********

R/T .761
60' 1.986
330 5.734
1/8 8.799
MPH 80.04
1000 11.471
1/4 13.736
MPH 99.50

Best R/T I got was a .519! I was happy with that! I kept hoping to break 100 MPH, but it wasn't meant to be. Maybe when I get some miles on her. Also met ThunderN, and his truck looks sweet! We even got to race each other and I had a friend film us. He edged me outwith a 13.715 to my 13.893. I'll try to get that race posted in a couple of days.
Later all,
Roger

PS... Steve, get your truck fast!!!

BTW, those times were with a little less than a 1/4 tank of gas. Do you guys think it would help to have more fuel in the tank?

I usually run mine with a 1/4 tank and just recently removed the spare. I still cut sub 2.0 60' times in that trim. I've found half a tank of gas or more really cuts down your mph.

Roger - I'm through reading your posts. They are having an adverse impact on my ability to wait patiently for my black beast to arrive.

J/k of course. Looks like you had a good time. So how have you posted pics of your new tint?

I think I should have brought the revs up a little more before the launch, cause I wasn't even spinning off of the line. I don't know how much higher I could go b4 it would start spinning on take off, but I was launching at about 1200rpm. Maybe a little more power would have helped, but I don't want to break anything with only 1700 or so miles on the odo.

Steve, didn't get a chance to get the pics of the tint today, but if the rain stops tomorrow I'll get pics of it and put 'em up tomorrow night. I did get the keypad installed tonight and I love that feature!!!

Later,
Roger
