Where to intall oil temp sensor unit

I tow a lot so I am wanting to install a oil temp gauge. (Not oil pressure) Where is the best place to do this at for a constant reading?

I have the boost and trans temp hooked up already, and they seem to be working great, just need to know the location for the oil temp now.

I have read Tims instructions for installing, but I would rather not tap into the oil pan.

Thanks!!

Harold

PS pictures would help a ton!!

yea you can hook up the oil temp or the oil pressure from the same unit, i personally hooked up a gauge for pressure about 2-3 months ago. just use some brass fittings and T it off, ill see if i can find some pictures. make sure you get all ur connections tight as you can, use teflon tape and sealer on ur fitting connections, i didnt get mine tight enough the first time and i lost a few quarts of oil out and its not fun to clean out from under the truck.

this is what it looks like installed after you are finished. if you need any more pics or cant find the sensor under there let me kno ill see if i can take more for you, its on the driverside of the block, if you look in the general area you cant miss it stickin out the side.

good luck!!
