Cant have Best and Cheapest in the same sentence....Either or...The best would be 58inch torque bars. The cheapest would be slapper bars..

Go with the 58" torque bars....I believe the are referred to as the "JDM-style". They are a really great product...my buddy has them on his 02 L and he loves them.

Depends on how far you want to go really, you can get 1.6 60's on slappers and stock susp. But, I belive they are at the limit there. If you have normal bolt on's, slappers will not hinder your 60' times. If you have a built motor, spray, turbo, af/supercharger (ie wipple or KB) you are probably gonna need long bars.

So in short, get the 58" bars and NEVER have to update that part of the puzzle again

they wont stop you from spinning your tires, just reduce it a little. wheel hop is the main thing they eliminate.

I autocrossed with my JL long bars without any ill effect and I'm not the only one, IMO the best bars available are JDM's the build quality is top notch, there proven and I've never heard of a failure, bang for the buck I'd go JL's or Metco's as a second choice-JL's have had some complaint's with the gauge of steel used on there mount brackets and I'll also toss in that where the bushing mounts meet the tubes on my set are not fully welded, which is half ***, never failed on me I'll add but as the saying goes you get what you pay for, last up lakewood style slappers-upgrade the hardware to grade 8 and ago for it, they have the limitations but the been proven to work fine.
