Unhappy shuddering at full throttle Help

Well I’m new to he whole Lightning World but glad as hell to be part of it.
2002 True Blue all stock.
My problem is that when I punch the throttle and the boost builds up to about 6 psi or more the exhaust sputters and I lose power , it all most seems as if it is being bypassed . Could any one please give me any places to start?

Also I can not cancel my over drive think the switch might be out. Does any one know if this is a common problem and what might be the Fix.

Thanks for all the input. Im pround to be part of the SVT’s Trucks

Welcome to the club!

I'd say start with all the usual suspects. When was the last time the plugs were changed? Fuel filter?
Have you done a breather or oil seperator kit? Possibly its an oil buildup in the intake, on the maf that's throwing it off.

I had a similar issue with my truck pretty much had to feather it to really get up to full boost, couldn't just mat it.

After changing the plugs/fuel filter and cleaning the IC she ran like new again!

Hope that helps

How does it run after the plug change? Did you do the fuel filter as well?

After installing new plugs the problem is gone, their was no need to replace the fuel filter being that I just replaced it about a month ago.
I found a link about replacing the spark plugs that said it would take about 2 hours but **** it took me about 3.5 hours and cost me one boot. But all is well the issue has been fixed.
Attached are some pics of the plugs all with a gap that exceeded .07 inches.
I would like to thank everyone for helping me resolve the issue.
Also I would like to know what site is good for using to purchase parts for performance as well as standard replacement parts.
Thanks again for all the help.

Glad your back to full power. Looking at those plug pics it doesn't seem they are all burning the same. You've got 1 that looks just nasty and one that looks almost new (white) where the rest are all similar coloring. Guys any thoughts?

As per sites to buy from. Your choice really. JLP, JDM, PSP, LFP list goes on. It's really your preference. Check them all out.

Glad to see that your '02 has the 8-9 threads heads. I thought they started in '03?
