If you get bored..Vinnie4valve.com

Here is a little website Me and Rob00.. (O.K. Rob did all the work.) put together for the build-up of the L.

Since its been a while I will fill ya in on the details.

This started out as a 4 valve custom build-up and as time went on Fomoco and Whipple did the work for us(JDM block, Shelby front and top w/ 3.4) and that would have been the end of it.....

BUT NO..

I had to go into the backroom at JDMs and see a factory frame Jim had boxed (Not just a plate box..But a larger U-frame welded to the stock frame) and C-notched just sitting there calling my name..Well after a few months of begging..Jim finally let me use the frame..The frame is the EXACT same dimensions as stock and is NOT narrowed in the rear.

WELL..

Since we were doing that , (How many times have we all said that) and now Joe Gambino works there now (He has fabricated all the JDM Rollcages and work on all the IROC cars) We might as well 4 link, mini tub, rack and pinion and put some Fatties on the back. I figured 900-1000 HP deserves it.

Also it will be 9 second legal..9 inch rear , full cage, etc...BUT still street legal and will have A/C,Subs,PS2..etc.

NO..It will no longer be a DD..But I will be able to drive to cruise nights and car shows with the Pro Street look (Hey ..I'm 41..I grew up with the Pro Street look)

So here is the Website.. Right now all the parts for the suspension are in and the frame is on the Jig table ..I will update as I get to JDMs.

Go under "The Chassis" section for updated pics.

I missed you as JDM day got moved.
Had a sneaky preview of the build progress and the quality is first class buddy.

That is gonna be one badass truck.

All the best and good luck with the project.
