I experienced the first major problem today with my L, I found oil in the throttle body and leaking around the bottom off the rubber ducting connection the Throttle body and the mass air meter, It seems to be coming from the pvc breather tube which is also leaking around the valve cover, PLEASE if anyone has had this problem please help me out, its goin to the dealer tomm but I want to know what to expect instead of them feading me a line of bull **** like they did with the front end clunk. I NEED your help guys!!!!

 

Leen, I find oil in my intake boot all the time. About every month I take the it apart and wipe it out and clean with hot soapy water. I believe most L's are experiencing this. JDM Eng. has a breather that will reduce this oil. I also think you need a calibrated chip to use the JDM breather or you will get some lean codes. Otherwise I recommend a monthly cleaning. Hope this helps.
