uhm.. my lightning weighs 4960 with just me, 1/8 of a tank of gas and my bedcover..
no stereo or dynamat when i weighed it.

I used almost 7 sheets of dynamat in the truck. It added about 60-70 lbs. I will be putting up a post with all the information in it with a couple other pics. I am just waiting to take a ride in someone elses Lightning so I can see if it was really worth the 20+ hours to do everything! I have a db meter that will be going with me in both trucks when we take a ride. I got the dynamat from www.mmxpress.com for about $50 a sheet, whcih was the best price I could find. I don't know how good the stereo stuff is from them but figured dynamat is dynamat so it did not matter where I ordered it from.

Tampa thank you for doing it to your truck. I saw your post about sound proofing your cab before I even had my truck and thought to myself if I ever get a new Lightning I am going to do the same thing. Doing the roof made a huge difference. You might want to think about doing it to yours.
