1. If your taking the blower off...pull the plug in the front and dump it into a bucket. Fill it by putting a small hose on the end of the bottle if possible and tip upside down. They make special fill bottles, but you can do it without. It should be alot easier with the blower out of the truck.

2. Fill it until it reaches the bottom of the fill hole. Theres no spec in the owners manual. Someon correct me if I'm wrong.

3. Brake clean is your friend.

4. With a 1/2" ratchet. The ratchet will fit in the end of the tensioner. Push down to relieve the tension.

Hope I helped

trucknut.....let us know how it goes. I'm always curious to see how bad the oil film is or isn't on the intercooler.

If you do a "search" in here, you'll find probaly about a dozen or more threads on how to clean your intercooler - including all tooks needed and photos of the tear down process.

If you're going to change oil in your blower, go to a GM dealership and get two bottles of their supercharger oil - it's usually cheaper than Ford's. I paid about $18 for two bottles 3 months ago - your standard Eaton will take about 1 1/2 bottles of this fluid.
