12's, Trophys, and more
Well, the folks from TALON had a busy weekend. After taking 10 L.'s to the dyno shop on Saturday, we descended upon Hallsville en masse with 8 L's. The results - Sixpipes won the brackets and collected a HUGE trophy. Silver_2000 set a new PB, and made it to the semi-finals in brackets. Everyone set a new PB, and there are four new members in the 12 second club. Sixpipes had the best run of the day, with an amazing 12.73 @ 110 (and that's not N02)! Autothrottle came in next with a 12.79, and I'll claim 3rd place with a 12.90, but I'll also claim the quickest time on street tires. All in all, a great day for the TALON crew. I enjoyed meeting the new folks, and congrats again to Sixpipes.

I added the ET's to the Dyno table so you can see the Mods, the HP they produce and the track times. We still need HiHoAG's ET's
Should be pretty cool since all the dynos were run the same morning and all the track results were same track same day..... Should make for some good bench racing fodder. Hopefully we can avoid the negativity I have seen in many other posts here lately ....
I had agreat time and set 3 new personal bests. 13.025 at 103 mph and 16.6 MPG on way home.....
13.025 is great considering I did it on stock tires and left from idle with not great 60 foot times...
I just want to know how Ivanhoe_farms cuts a 508 light in his forst trip to the track and first time bracket racing....... Geesh Beginners luck or something
The details including a picture of the trophy is on my web site under Talon Subweb

Well it seems I missed you guys again!! I'm heading that way this Friday to try and break in the 12's again. Last time I had just got the 01 meter and chip, but it was calibrated for a shift kit because the shifts were sloppy and cost me alot of time. I've got a shift kit now and feel I should be real close with good air. I ran a 13.2 with a 1.95 60 ft and I feel the ET streets will help that. One of these days I'd like to travel over there and meet everyone. Congrats on all the times!!!!

Go_rila and I had a great time at Fastech and Hallsville. I'd like to personally thank MRBBQMAN for making sure the MOPAR trophy girl (pictured above) didn't show up at the track yesterday.
Doug and I met in the semi-finals and wouldn't you know the Horsepower Store Camaro got a bye into the finals. Doug had me covered on the dial-in running a 13.108 on a 13.100 dial, but he jumped the gun a wee bit and that was it. Closest call I had all day. Half the trucks made it to the semis with a couple being knocked out by fellow TALON members.
