My old 99

Although I wasnt the one who did it, it def had a look of it's own and I kinda liked it
(especially being a 12 time 69-70 Big Block Chevelle SS owner)

But the Stripes would have looked better if they were actually done like a Chevelle's
with the smaller Pin Stripe Border around the larger stripes

Rob, are those painted on? I had vinyl stripes before but the white turned a bit yellow after a couple of years. This time around I'll have them painted on and clear coated so you can't feel them.

I like that, it's different.
The yellow looks striking against the gunmetal.

Tidy truck you got there

No they were Vinyl
Ed (who I orig bought it from) did it himself,
his brother has the machine and made the stripes for him

Old Red WAS NOT kept up too well (before I bought it) BUT the stripes looked Brite (and were fairly old)

Here ya go! I know its a gen 1 but the stripes were mimicked off a 07 shelby. They are painted on and cleared over

WOW! Small world! I was parked next to you Saturday at the Auto zone in Seffner! I had the 02 Lariat extended cab, same color. Where did you buy your hood from? I want a cowl hood for mine, have to replace mine due to an accident. I am looking at the dual split cowl hood, but i like yours as well.

Your truck looks really sharp. Nice ride!!

Stripes

It is a small world. Got the hood from another Lightning owner. It's a Reflexxion Cowl. Steel and it do weigh a lot, but then most Fiberglass hoods weigh just as much. It's also very functional. Say Hello next time we're at Auto Zone.
