Get a tonneau for storage. You already have the fold down center section, baby seat fits fine there If all else fails take her for a test drive

Here's a great argument for buying a Lightning over another model truck...

To me, high performance qualities are the best safety features. In an emergency situation, I would much rather be driving a truck that has superb brakes and handling capabilities, and the power to get out of someone's way if needed. The best way to survive an accident is to not get in one in the first place!

I can relate with ya. We just had a baby girl on Christmas eve. In no way am I getting rid of the L because of that. We have a minivan to go where ever it is we all have to go. The baby seat does fit well in the middle and causes no problem. Don't forget to turn off the pass. airbag!

Not being a child fan. I'd vote to dump wife and kid to go for the Lightning.

You can always get another kid and wife. Getting a Lightning is something that is rare.

 

Hmmmmmmmmmmm.....must be something here. Iam on my second Lightning and I don't have a wife.

Hey Will,

I also have a daughter that will be one in April and the car seat fits great in the middle, just flip up the console and turn the airbag off. My wife,daughter and myself were in the truck for a three hour trip and it was comfortable.
I had the same "discussions" with my wife because it didn't have a back seat but, after alot of dedication and diliberation she did give in and is very happy with the Lightning now.(DON'T SAY ANYTHING ABOUT MODS!)

Do what we did. My wife got her BMW convertible. I got my Lightning. HeHeHeHe.

 

The child seat fits on the passenger side and you can turn off the airbag. Tell the wife you want her snuggled next to you(it will get points) in the middle seat.
