More delays....

More delays....
Still waiting for my 2001. Ford doesn't even have a build date for it and I ordered it in December...
The dealer is talking something like Ford is delaying them because they wanted to put some on the road and make sure everything is OK.
I checked with SVT and they said that was bunk. I bought on an A-plan, so I pretty much have to stick with this dealer.
Anyone have any ideas? I've checked VOPC and there's no build date/VIN.
Could something be holding up my order?

I ordered my 2001 L on January 6. I call every week just like a good new lightning owner should. No vin# till last week, But still no built date. I call today and the salesman says they don't have date and he will call Ford and find out. He calls me back and tell me that the Truck is on hold,
He called it "Total Performance package hold" and they don't know when it will be released. This Does not sound right? He also said that this is affecting all Lightnings. Did anybody else hear this ?
