I went to a classic car auction in Nashville, Tn Saturday and saw a red 01 in the parking lot. Just wondering if it was any body on here.

I'm in Nashville. I'm still looking for the 2 White Lightnings that were at Beech Bend.

I am from Bowling Green, is that close enough! YELLOW00, I was at Beech Bend also on the Sat. with the other 2 white lightnings. I was in the black one. Is your car auto or 6-speed?

Hey Justin. I was just wanting to tell the 2 white Lightnings that my friend('99 Blue C5) and I had a real good time on the way back to Nashville. The guys were very cool. I've had several people ride my *** after racing them or just doing something else just as stupid, but these guys seemed pretty cool about it. My car is a 6-speed. Another guy that met up with us down there was driving a '99 Mag Red C5. He did a 720 on his 3rd run down the track and miraculously did not hit the wall! I'm hoping it was just the humidity and the fact that it had misted rain earlier that made the track so slick. I couldn't launch worth sh** and also lost traction on every 1-2 and 2-3 shift. I even ran a frickin 14 on 1 run! The guy that spun out had the same run-flat tires that I have. Most Vette owners refer to these tires as "run-craps" as they really suck at getting traction due to being so stiff...... The best I saw the white Lightnings run was a 12.9 and a 13.3. I'm guesssing they saw my horrible times that day and they wanted to "play" on I-65. The drive back was definitely the highlight of the day.......... It looks like until I get some Nittos, I'll stick to street racing.
