More '01 track times!
Made a trip down to Hallsville, TX with TALON yesterday. Had a great time watching SixPipes eat up the competition! Congrats again!
Saw some GREAT times by our trucks. Here are 5 of my 8 runs. (The other 3 I didn't go all out for various reasons, so I'm not gonna bother posting those times) My truck had about 1950 miles and the temp was around 55 degrees. My truck is completely stock.
Run 1:
R/T .711
60' 2.048
330' 5.745

MPH 101.02
Run 3:
R/T .752

330' 5.814
1/8 8.862
MPH 80.39

Run 4:
R/T .792
60' 2.080

1000' 11.520
1/4 13.759

MPH 80.40
1000' 11.545

There ya go. This truck is getting better and faster all the time. The track prep at this track is much better than Ennis, where I ran a 13.9994 and a 14.083 with about 1100 miles on the truck. The weather yesterday was also very nice.

Your times look very good. My best 1/8th mile was 8.789@82.71.
Give it more time to loosen up. It sure seems like you top end is alot stronger than mine. What I mean by that is your 1/8-1/4 mile performance. I went on to a 13.603.
Glad you had fun!

Well, la dee friggin' da!
Time look great, congrats!
Temps look good, but do know by chance what altitude at the track?
Your 60' times look pretty good. If you could dip them down to a 1.9 mark you could probably have run a 13.35 or so.
What tire pressure were you running?

Peter B,
I've raced at Hallsville several times. The track is in east Texas. I'd guess altitude is ~300'.
Good times, James. I'm not surprised you ran faster at Hallsville than at Ennis. While Hallsville is just a small track, the people who run it take pride in their prep.
