Post Fix for Throttle Body not opening completely?

After reading this post:

https://www.f150online.com/f150board...ML/010562.html

...I noticed there are some having problems w/ their TB not opening all the way.

...so what is the "fix" for this? I haven't checked mine, but if it is not opening all the way I def. want to rectify this. Any insight would be appreciated!

Thank you,

BfB

Cool

Remove and replace with a Cobra R t.b.

Yep, that'll do it. If you want to keep the stock one and it's incorrect, you have to grind or file the plastic bumper where it meets the baseplate with a Dremel tool or something. Do not do this unless you're absolutely sure of what you're doing!!! Not all of you have out-of-whack blade angles!!! I'm sure of it. Just look at the post BABolt put up. Most of you probably have correct angles. I measured mine at several points inside the throttle bores at WOT - off the truck by hand. Mine was goofed.
