Thumbs up Autocross fun

I had an absolute blast today with the new Hoosier 275/35-18 's. They corner a lot harder and stop very hard. Traction off the line was poor, I am used to the street tires and these are 2.5" smaller OD.

The best run of the day was a Z06 Corvette : 1:09. My best was 1:17, good enough for second in my class (F Stock). Lots of people were amazed that a truck weighing 4600 lbs could hang with sports cars on a track. Me too ! The tires transform the vehicle, and could probably do a lot more with a braver driver. I ran them at 44psi and had the front alignment set for 0.7deg neg camber and zero toe-in.

Thumbs up

Nice going, BL. I am so jealous, they don't do autocross here in So. Cal.
