Spiro,
I hope you don't get driven away from the boards. Most of us value your information that you share. I know you have saved me money on no gain mods and I do appreciate it.

In business if you are pleasing 100% of the people 100% of the time something is wrong.

I don't know what happened and I don't care. I am here to gather and share information on the one thing we all have in common. Our trucks.

Your knowledge, time, and information is greatlt appreciated.

You know, I was just an average guy with tons of useful information to ALL, but when I quit JDM it all turned to S H I T real quick around here. Nobody cares that I have always been a stand up guy, they care about bad-mouthing and lashing out at others here on the WEB.
Well, I am not that type of person, and it really P I S S E S me off that I had to answer some questions here for all of you to read, but that's OK, in time ALL of you will know the truth, and will wonder what the hell happened to Spiro.... I dont blame LSChicago, I thank him for opening my eyes to what LIES were being said about me.

I make one post on my runs from the JDM/SVT meet with some useful and informative information, and right away some A S S H O L E here decided to e-mail me and tell me I was lying about my run with the JDM chip during one of tests that day.

QUOTE:
"How could you run that much slower this year than last year?" I think your just trying to make Sal look good.
--------
Well, this idiot did not read my post that well at all, or even know what type of conditions I ran those 12.30's last year, instead he wanted to start something out of nothing.

Nobody took into account when I ran last year at Cecil, the B.P. was above 31.?? I weighed in at 4700 lbs, and was also running a much better 60' that were in the mid 1.7's as well and without the front sway bar on. What happened...I will tell you.

This past weekend I ran at full weight 4840, front swaybar on,just under a hlf-tank of 100 octane, seats still in the cab, tonneau and tailgate still on as well, and let's not forget the gusts of wind that exceeded 40 mph most of the day.

And to top it all off, I was singled out and was buried deep in the group photo so that no one will see my truck, but the top 2 were in the front...YEA RIGHT!! LOL The top 2 trucks were me and Chris a PSP customer, but will the magazines say that for the JDM/SVT meet...And I was also held at the tree on the foot-brake for over 10 seconds on 2 runs..WHY?? once I released the throttle to keep my hurt TRANNY from overheating, the TREE STARTED..and also being told that I needed to back into the water box, when everyone else clearly was going straight into the water box, but I still ran despite all that was thrown my way that day!!

Im sorry to be so upset, but this really hurts, it's always the good guy that gets screwed...

Take care

For the record, I VERY MUCH DO CARE that you and Johnny are a stand up guys. Quality of character DOES matter.

I wanted to meet you Spiro, but didn't for another reason, at the meet at E-town. I only stayed a couple hours but did meet some great people. Just got off the phone with a tuner and I think there maybe something happening at Cecil this summer :-) Hope to catch you then. NOT all people like to sling BS. LATER FROM THE GATOR

I've heard nothing but good things about JL, Spiro and JDM until now. JDM and his products both walked on water a short month ago, then Spiro and JL very suddenly distance themselves from JDM. My only problem with that is they did not state why. Although it's none of my business, I think it's in very poor taste to publicly disassociate yourself from JDM after hyping his products here without explanation. I had decided to go with the JDM chip until these things came up. I can't feel good about sending JDM my money right now because of these mysterious allegations and i think that's unfair to JDM.

I'll qualify these statements by saying i don't know a damn thing about any of the parties involved, I just think it's a cheap shot to allude to bad business practices a specific vendor without offering facts or a story.

I dont think that we deserved this comment Spiro. Both Rick and I are deeply offended..he may have not had the fastest qualifing run (12.36)but when it counted he had the fastest time...12.38 on motor against your 12.40 with a 75 shot of NOS..it was hardly a level playing field with your NOS advantage.Running 12.38 on motor is quite an accomplishment in itself..

Linn, this was not directed to you or Rick at all. You guys are AWESOME!! and I love racing with you both. I said that because I was told that the top trucks would be in the front of the photo.
I am sorry, i did not mean anything bad towards you both about that.

As with everything else in life this too will pass. In the mean time, point your truck West and come run with some friendlies. Find a cheap flight and you can come out and run my truck.
