I had a great time once again as well. Its always fun to meet up with everyone! I have to buy a digital camera though, need pictures. Atleast I didn't get everyone lost this time! lol

AHHH! My old stomping grounds. I lived in Englishtown for 10 yrs. Next time any of you get out that way you should go to Old Silver Tavern on Tennant Rd (Ave?) It was the best bar/restaurant in the area. Anybody ever go there? Is it still the same? I haven't been there in 4 yrs or so. You need to get out by the Exxon station and make a left onto 527 south into town and make a left at Englishtown liquor(if its still there)and go about 1 1/2 miles on the right. Good steaks and nice greasy bar pies....ummm .....gotta go cook!

I just wanted to personally take the time to publically thank you for sponsoring the JDM/SVTPerformance.com Lightning Day at Englishtown yesterday. It is difficult for me to believe that of the 40+ trucks which attended yesterday that no one else has bothered to acknowledge your efforts on our behalf. I am appalled and ashamed of the rest of my fellow Lightning owners who attended for their lack of consideration, regardless of their personal Lightning Tuner preferences. I realize that some of you are still traveling home and I do not mean to include you in my vent. Jim spent a considerable amount of money to rent the track on our behalf. Please show him some support, or at least acknowledge his efforts for a fun day.

On a more personal note, I want to thank him for the efforts he put into my truck which allowed me to compete in the top 5.

I just got on the computer and started to read some of the posts.
First of all I will thank Jim @ JDM for everything, it was great to meet with you and talk with you. Thanks for the day of racing and for the tour of your shop. And for all the JDM parts that are on my truck. I had a great time.
Second I would like to say that I enjoyed meeting everyone that I did, I would of liked to have had more time to meet and talk with a lot of you more.
I thought it was a good turn out, and I had a ball.
I added some pictures to my zing album of Englishtown but I don't know how to post them so if someone does and wants to please do.
Any way to wrap things up I had a great time and can't wait to get together again

What an awesome day! A great time was had by all, lots of cool trucks in various stages of Mod. My wife got to make her first run down the strip had a best time of 13.7@98, not to shabby! I had to update my Sig new best time of 13.5@101 You had some awesome runs Spiro. It was truly a pleasure meeting everyone! I hope everybody made it home safe and sound (I know some are still on the road)

Thanks Bill. Em had to go to the Doc today. They think she has a stomach virus Hopefully the medication works. Emily really enjoyed talking with Michelle and the other ladies. Lightning Bob- It was great meeting you! Thanks for the air JDM did a great job organizing the event. I agree the only way to make it better would be to make it 2 days instead of one.
