I hear Jim (Top Gun) busted out like a 10.4 on the Spray with the Mag

Richie (Hostile) still having launch issues (dam low rider, he belongs in a gang or something, hehehe) managed a 11.4 (maybe even 11.3) on the stock block whipple combo. As soon as he raises the rear up and gets a good 60, he'll be in the 10's

A kick *** 9.8 (I believe) ET in Jims JDM Blue Stang

A Stock Block Cobra ran a 10.84 (I believe) with a Saleen Blower (I think)

I unfortunately heard there was like 3 or 4 Stang half shaft failures and hardly any L's showed up I understand there were tons of Stangs amof in all shape form and color. I think the weather and time of year prevented a lot from showing up, but I just hope they continue to do it and hopefully "if" we get another chance A LOT of L's show next time.

Stangs may be a dime a dozen but no one can argue how fast and easy it is to make them go fast, hell I added like 65% power in one day for 2K when I built the Procharged GT last year. With Ford only having 1 performance vehicle they sure seem to be taking over, if only they made them big enough to sit in...

We had an awesome time, great weather for racing, a little bit of a cross wind but it just made you drive a little on the top end!

Thanks to everyone who made it!!

I had a great time...got a new personal best, not quite what I was shooting for, but oh so close...I ran a 11.021 @ 121.69mph w/ 1.545 60' and that was with a little wheel spin on the launch.

I had to bail out on my second pass because it pulled the wheels and when it came back down, it unloaded the rear tires and spun hard...I think I had the front shocks set too soft...there's definately some 10's in this combo, I just gotta get my act together.

A big thanks goes out to Jim & the gang from JDM for putting on this event for us...can't wait 'til next year.

well I did run my new best for the stock Whippled long block here are my numbers:

run 1: 11.434@118.23 1.647 60'

run 2: 11.618@119.95 1.836 60'

run 3: 11.475@122.38 1.818 60'

run 4: 11.364@121.81 1.706 60'

as you can see my 60' runs suck!! i have the Hoosier 30x10.5x15 lightweight radials. whats happening is my truck is lowered 4" in the back and my rear is hitting the snubbers or whats left of them basically they are level with the frame. so for next season I will C-notch my frame and hope to achieve better 60' times while still keeping my lowered stance.

all in all in was a great day of racing, I got to up my nitrous jets to a 75 shot and play with my tire preasure to get a better feel for my truck..

congrats to Jim for KILLIN the MP record!!!! SICK!!!
congrats to JDM for that killer 9sec. mustang I think it is a GT all Saleened out.. SWEET ride.. hey Jim I really like that seat boy was that thing sweet!!

again JDM killer day wish it was a bit warmer and no wind but we cant win them all i guess, food was great hope to see more videos of the rental soon...

Just wanted to say that I had a great time as always at JDM Day.
It was great to see everyone again, and thanks to everyone who helped make it a great day. I had my new personal best in the STI at 11.380 at 122.29 a great way to end the racing year.
Jim III you should be proud of your car, she is consistant and quick, plus she looks great. I am looking forward to JDM DAY next year already.....

Also if anyone has a video clip of my 11.38 run please send it to wjaynes@maine.rr.com
Thanks,
Bill

I had a great time at JDM Day. I had a previous engagement, so I only had time to get in 1 run.
First time out on spray I ran a 10.46/126. Soft nitrous program on about 19#s of MP boost. Temps were so cold that I was unable to get my bottle pressure where I wanted it. There is sooo much left in this combination. I truly believe a 9 sec run is doable.
Thanks to TEAM JDM for giving us this day and to all who helped make it possible!
Jim
