Hey guys I just bought my 02 L and their is no license frame (or plates) on the front of the truck. Their are 2 holes already drilled in but they are a little more seperated than the standard holes for plates. My question is if they make a special plate frame that fits on the holes. I bought a standard frame and the holes did not reach so I was wondering if somewhere besides the dealer do they sell this frames. Cause i know anything from the dealer is EXPENSIVE!!! THANK YOU

 

Yes there is a special License Plate Frame, as you can see here on my old 99.
And Yes your right the holes are spead wider than the plate holes





Hey you could always re-drill the plate

Or just eliminate the holes, it's a much cleaner look....

 

Do you know where i can buy it cheap (not from the dealer!) maybe some sort of aftermarket or where can i get the best deaL!!!!!!!!

 

There are many L owners that have eliminated the Plate + Holder,
I got to believe someone will have one to sell cheap....
