Dealer won't (yet) replace bumper
That's right. At good old FIVE STAR FORD in Scottsdale, AZ. The service manager wants to fill the holes & slap on a little paint. Good as new, boy!
My girlfriend's sister is an insurance adjuster. When my girlfriend started to tell her about it, the sister said,
"It's not FIVE STAR FORD, is it? Their service department SUCKS."
So at least I got a laugh out of that.
Gonna have to escalate, people. The sister says she's gonna look into an escalation path via Ford.
Anybody here know who I should call?

Flaming yourself? LOL. That's a new one.
They probably CAN repair the bumper decently, instead of replacing it. There is patching goop for the rubber bumpers that works well.
I know you'd rather have a new bumper, but if they can do a good repair job, what's the difference?
The biggest hassle with either a repair or a replacement is the fact that the bumper is repainted, and will probably chip worse than the factory paint job.
You can try the zone representative, or whatever Ford calls them. This is the direct liaison between the dealership and Ford. He/she might have some leverage.
If all else fails, you can always threaten to take them to small claims court.

I agree with Baddog. Nobody want's to break the paint on a factory finish.I have been through this myself.I tell them go ahead and fix it if it does not meet my satisfaction it goes to my personal bodyshop. Well you know what happened. Bob.
