Will a 4lb Lower pulley work with a KB?

I am having a KB 2.3 installed, but my current config uses a 4 lb lower blower pulley. Can I keep it, or does the stock pulley need to be replaced?

Keep the 4# and just stick a big upper on the KB like a 3.2 or 3.5. I plan to do this (along with upgraded MAF, pumps, and injectors) and I don't have a built bottom end.
