Question Ansewer This Please

Driving home and all of a sudden I think I have a flat, look down and see the truck has quit running. Pull the chip, which seemed tight, and still would not start. Disconnect the negative and turn the headlights on for about ten minutes and she starts. What's up? Chip has been in for about 3mos. Any ideas? I could feel a little miss sometimes sitting at a light, other than that she runs strong. Put some Splits in a few months back, no problems till today. Think the connection needs more cleaning, that's pretty much the first place to start. God that was a weird feeling sitting there helpless at first. Going back to every post I could think of on the subject, paid off, drove it home. Going out of town now, but any thoughts are appreciated. Not taking the "L" either.

Fuel pump? Not disconnected fuel lines, but a pump that is failing. This has happened to me before. Like the pump needs to cool off before it will run again.

May want to check your Splits. Have heard of some failures on here.
