/99L steering pulling to the left

My /99 lightning has been pulling to the left since new. It's something I've put up with over the years, but now trying to resolve it. Had a front end alignment done a few times and everything seemed ok. It seems at highway speeds it drifts to the left. So the steering wheel is at 10 & 4 constantly which is a chore to steer. I still have the P295/45ZR18 type of tires on the truck. The front tires don't show any unusual wear patterns.

Take it to a quality chassis shop with a good alignment machine. Although the rear end is fixed via leaf springs, my passenger side of the axle was about 1/4" - 3/8" farther forward than the driver side.

When we put the Roush suspension on, I had it aligned (obviously). Rear end now centered on both sides and my "slight pull - tendency to drift" problem went away...

Finding a knowledgeable alignment person is the key...

Good luck !!

Thank You! I forgot the old saying "Remember to cover ones ****" From what point does a person measure the leafs from? It would be great if to become a non-member of the pull to the left Lightning club.

I am unsure - the guy who pointed it out to me did so on the screen of his alignment computer.

Membership is lifetime. Just think about the less effort needed when changing lanes.

Eh! A lifetime-The /99 lives most of it's life in the left lane, and that guard rail is not friendly.

find a quality alignment shop (read bodyshop) and be sure that they use a four wheel alignment system, most only use a two wheel on a solid rear suspension. Preferrably a shop that uses HUNTER equipment.

Thank you for that tip, I'll check it out with my tuner if he knows of a shop. It's almost that time of the year to put it to bed, so this may wait til spring now.
