***Lightning Cost?***

I Have been looking around for a lightning locally for awhile now, I finally saw one today that was owned by an older Gentleman, anyway it's a Stock 2003 Ford Lightning (DSG) with 22,000 Miles. The Gentleman wants $20,000 for it. It looks to be in top notch condition. Does the price sound good?

Also does anyone know of anything to look out for next time I swing by to see it, that could show me that it's been abused, besides bald tires (Which it doesn't have)

Thanks in advance.

If I'm not mistaken, they didn't make DSG Lightings in 2002, only 2003 and 2004. Are you sure it's a 2002? Below is a picture of my 2003 DSG.

MAT2CH, my mistake I didn't realize I typed 2002, it is an 03 exactly like yours except not dropped and this one has the chrome Lightning Wheels

Do you think the price is good?

MAT2CH, any more pics of your truck?

I've been wanting to buy one for awhile now, And well the decision was either a Lightning or an 07 Harley Davidson Night Train.

But I'm going with the Lightning

Yes, I think that's a good deal. $20,000 for a stock Lightning in top notch condition with only 22,000 miles, that was owned by an old guy, Hell Yes! It's probably been babied most of those miles and with it being stock, you have a clean slate to work with. I love the DSG color and when I went looking for mine, was only willing to get that color. I get compliments about my truck from a lot of people, even guys that hate Fords. Go for it!

Hey, Mat2ch. Sweeeeet truck. What kinda tires you got thar? My '04 DSG is almost ready for some new skids, and I sure do like that tread pattern.

Sounds like a great deal. Paid 24,700 (in North Carolina) for an '04 with 16K, and it took a while to find one with that kinda of mileage. An '03 with 22K for 20 large, driven by a more mature man. Jump on it.

Thanks, they are Hankook tires. They aren't bad in the rain and hold up pretty well with all my burnouts showing off. I also like the tread pattern and I think they look better in person than in the pictures.
