Exclamation HELP!!!!Weird noise

Just started Saturday. Programming my new cell phone while letting the truck idle. A wierd noise began. Sounds like a electric pump of some sort. Looked and listened for 2 hours and all I can pinpoint is that the noise is coming from somewhere in front of the radiator. Are there any electric pumps up there? Hate going to dealerships, hoping maybe somebody had dealt with this before.

Exclamation

There is a 12V Bosch pump that recircs your intercooler antifreeze. First thing is check your intercooler level, I've heard the pumps get noisy without antifreeze in there to lubricate and cool them. The pump is located straight down from the intercooler tank near the bottom of the radiator.

Question

I have a strange noise that started recently. only when cold, at start up, in park, it sounds like tires going over a metal grateing, like a loud humming. it is seperate from the high pitched supercharger noise, and goes off and on for about five seconds. when driving down the street (still cold) i can re-create the noise , by shifting to neutral, and reving the motor. when the trucks warm, it stops. coolant level hasn't budged in 2yrs. any ideas?
