Post Ordered Extang cover

Well, after some recommendations awhile back(thanks in particular Wes!) I ordered an Extang BlackMax tonno cover for the L. I found it at TrukStuf.com for 179, which was much better than other sites I looked at.

Bad news is, the truck is in the shop AGAIN. After the dealer fixed the alignment and put the two new tires on it, the brakes have been messed up. When applying 40-90% brake pressure, the pedal feels like ABS is kicking in intermittently. The dealer has no idea what is wrong, and they have replaced wheel speed sensors, rotated the tires, to no avail. If this last sensor doesnt fix the problem(and it is apparently located inside the rear diff) then they say the don't know what to do. I am P.O.ed.

Garett,

Sorry to hear about the problems with the truck! Mine has been so hassle-free. I did just recently have the intercooler replaced, but the dealer had it within 24hrs of ordering it, and it took one day to do the install.

Anyway, you'll like the BlackMax cover. Mine is now 18 months old and looks new.

I would be interested in your comments on the EXtang. I've been fussing around with the cover issue. I like one of the hard cover's looks but don't like the price and some of the restrictions. I need something because my bedrug just arrived.
