Los Angeles County Raceway (3/17)
Tomorrow, Ciione and I will be up at LACR at around 7-7:30 with out 01 Lightnings. If any of you in the area, or even out of the area wanna make the trip down and meet up with us, that'd be great. I'll have the Black L, and his is Silver. Be looking forward to seeing some of you.

Yep, we went racing all night long. Driving around town with 2 01 L's is an awesome feeling. I ran a 14.1 again, with a .65 r/t. mph was around 97. I can do better I'm sure of it. I'll let Tom post his times, if he hasn't already.

Your truck is still stock, isn't it, Marcus? That's a good time for a stocker at LACR, probably equivalent to 13.6 at sea level. You are really going to have to go to a different strip if you want to post some good times. I understand that Carlsbad is open again; you might want to try down there. And I highly recommend Famoso. http://famosoraceway.com/
Next Saturday is open test and tune; I would go if my truck was running right. Try it, and I think you'll like it.

Hey guys, was out at friends house and didn't have time to go on the net. But I ran a 14.415 at 95.4mph. Not bad for my first time on a drag strip. Had no idea what I was doing... Hehe.. But you got to learn somewhere. Marcus helped me out so it was cool. Thx again Marcus, we have to head out there again soon. George you got to come out and meet up with us, once our truck is good to go.

I agree totally, drive the extra miles to the better track for times, why would you want to run low 14's when you know it can run mid 13's at a better track.I would never do it that would be way to depressing.

The only dragstrip in the world in which the first 300' are heated. It should be working this summer. Its not too far is it?
Good night fellows.

Tom, very cool meeting you. Interesting night to say the least. Didn't know some many girls got their nipple pierced huh? We must do it again soon.
George, I might just go ahead and go up this weekend. I need to find a trailer that will haul my truck. My friend with his F-550 said he'd haul me up to Fomoso to keep the engine cool for when I go run. Works for me.
And it's not too much of a pain running at LACR, yeah, it's a crappy track, but the actual racing is most of the fun, plus, I also look at my times in the corrected form, so when it shows 14.1 I know it's really 13.5.

Doubt if you really need to go to that exteme, Marcus. I don't want cool oil circulating through my motor at 5600 rpm, anyway. Recipe for cool motor - sit in staging line for an hour. Drain intercooler reservoir, fill with ice water. What's really important is getting the intake charge as cool as possible.
