WOW! Really suckered my in with that topic, "don't bother to open".
You should sell Ls'. "You shouldn't buy that truck, it's waaay too fast". I would just have to see for my self.

Alphadoggy, last summer went from Alamitos Bay, night at Santa Barbara Island, and then a week at Santa Cruz Island. After a lifetime of summers on Catalina this was an adventure. This summer I'm going back except I may go to Anacapa, San Miguel or Santa Rosa, too. Have you made to any of these places?

Been to the cave on Santa Cruz's east side?

Bill, I gather you are referring to the red L. titled "designautomotive"? I have no idea who makes the tonneau, I just pasted the pic in my album because I thought it was an extremely pretty truck. I probably would have gotten red, except it is a little too much of a cop magnet.
Trabuco, have been to Anacapa many times, and the front side of Santa Cruz a few, but have not explored the back side at all. My last boat just rode too damned rough to make that trip very enjoyable, especially considering how rough the Santa Barbara channel usually is. However, this new catmaran rides so much smoother and drier that I expect to spend a lot of time fishing Santa Cruz and beyond, even Santa Barbara Is., esp. once the yellowtail bite heats up. I'd rather fish for tails than anything. When you come up give me a shout and maybe we can rendesvouz.

alphadoggy, my need for speed ends with the L. I have a motorsailer that bests at 9 knots. I'll let you know when we set a date.
