Post Delivery Problems

I posted a question similar to this a few days ago but now I have more information. My 2001L was built on 2-27-01 and scheduled for delivery the week of 3-19. My dealer and the train company has told me my vehicle was picked at random for quality control inspectation. I don't have a problem with this except it is still at the Ontario plant. Does anyone know how long it takes when a vehicle is pulled for this inspection Thank You.

When i worked at Ford it wasn,t uncommon for a vehicle to be pulled for a quality check. This usually would be an overnighter by a member of management, a superintendent, or a person associated with production of the vehicle. They would verify the extra mileage driven by that person on a quality sticker put on the window. the person would fill out a report on any problems or things they found that weren,t up to quality, but you didn,t find out what they were.If there was any serious problem it would be fixed.---Jim

My vehicle arrived with 14 extra miles on it and 7 days late. The truck arrived at the dealer with a buffed polish, much better than the other lightning that was delivered with it.

Finally released and loaded. Called the train company today and they gave me the car number. We'll see how long it takes to get to Denver. Thank's for your help.
