The first being the I got married. Today I learned that I will be a DADDY and I can't express how happy that made me. After spending most of the day on cloud nine we went to the track. I had set a goal of 13.3 to make it a good trip. Well on radials I ran 3-13.3's with some not so cool 2.08 60 ft times. I knew it had more so I threw on the drag radials I got from JL(bought the rims actually and they were left on there)which are bald. I heated those babie's up as best I could and got a 1.95 60 ft which came to a 13.27. I was extremely pleased with the results as I met my goal and if I could've mustered a 1.8 60 ft time I could have run in the 13.1's. Anyway the fun part was how many people loved that truck. They could not believe how quick it was running. I had people everywhere giving me thumbs up and asking all kind's of questions. I even had one guy come up and ask was it running nitrous,of course it isn't,and he replied that I really impressed him. It truelly was a blast and I even got to blast a R/T!! Today was a GOOD DAY!!!!

Congrats!! There is nothing like being a dad. My little girl just turned 5 and she is for sure the best thing in my life. Be aware they grow soooo fast!!!!!! Make every minute count!!! Great times also, those L's get alot of attention at the track

Congrats on everything!! We'll continue to wish you and your wife the best as she carries the baby. Nothing beats fatherhood...apologies to all you "young-ins". I never thought I'd be old enough to have kids (had our first when I was 27), and had absolutely no clue what it would be like.

But, my son is 6 and my daughter is 3 now, and the time spent with them is worth more than anything.

congrats on the baby, I will be a first time daddy this year also. My wife is due Sept 17. Next month we go in for the ultra sound to see if we have a boy or a girl. Just be prepared for major mood swings your wife will go through in about 8 weeks!!! Also start saving money for the new maternity clothes she will be wanting (just back back from spending $$$ on them). When is she due?
