what chip n' filter combos'?
I just rolled over 1500mi and I have some questions, and am ready to do some mods. First things first, I am torn between the airaid cool air damb w/big mouth filter and JL's stage II ram air? Help! Also don't know much about chips I am used to working on Harleys and they are just a littttle behind on the computer stuff. What chip give the best gains between JL's, PSP, and superchip? Is the flip chip worth the extra $100, and how much more power do you get in the race position? Now the boring stuff. Should you change your plug after break in and should you use NGK or motorcraft? I will probably go with mobil 1 synthetic, how often do you all change that synthtic stuff? Last question what do yall use to preserve you seats?

I am running the PSP 4-way chip and filter. Excellent quality. The chip really rocks. The four way is setup as follows. stock, street (most performance on pump gas), race (100 oct), and valet (2500rpm max). Tunable anyway you want it setup.

I am using the JL Ram-Air (PSP's is real nice, too) and a PSP 4-way setup: P1 is street performance w/tranny mgmt & 28" tires (speedo correction for 3.73 gear). P2 is all out race (100+ octane req'd) w/28" tires (speedo correction for 3.73 gear). P3 is all out race with correction for 26" drag radials. P4 is a secret!

I have the JL Ram Air kit and JL programmed Superchip. JL's 1/4 times speak for themselves.
